
Applications for fall 2021 PAPMSS Chief Electoral Officer
All PAPMSS CEO Applicants must submit a CV and Resume detailing why they are interested and qualified for the position.
Deadline: September 8th @ 3pm
Length of Term: September 13 - October 11, 2021
Requirements:
- Must be a 4th or 5th year PAPM student
- Must be able to commit 2-5 hours per week to the role for the Fall Election period
- not required, but preferred to possess a general understanding of the PAPMSS electoral process
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the PAPMSS elections are fair, free, and democratic
- Communicate with the Senate office to create ballots
- Work with VP Communications to make election graphics and media
- Run an Election Information Night
- Establish an Elections Committee

The PAPM Debates, Fall 2019
On November 6th, 6:30-9PM, 8 PAPM students will debate each other on two topics related to policy, current affairs, or PAPM coursework. There will be two teams of two students debating each issue. Here’s the plan for future announcements.
October 19-20: Six curated topics suggested by students will be put to a public poll by google form, allowing everyone to vote for their favourite debate topics. Two of the most popular topics will be selected.
October 22-28: Debaters can register for the event, and the debate format will be expressed in detail.
October 29-November 4: The chosen debaters will participate in a training session to prepare for the event, which may include a practice debate.
November 6: The debate event will be held from 6:30-9PM, Tory Building 238.

Students can suggest topics through the google form linked in this post, which will be open until Friday, October 18 at 11:00PM. Six topics selected from those suggested will be put to a Google Form poll over the weekend, with the two debate topics being chosen from from among the top voted.
